From the ocean it returns

Look what returned from the depths of the ocean floor.

I was just about to give up and a couple more dives down to 25 feet below and I spotted the wayward little devil and snatched it up.

Finally a day with rain so we running a little experiment to catch some of it for our water usage so far it hasn’t rained even a cupful.

Didn’t make the boxing day partae

Too many cold beverages and fun on the boat after dinner to get motivated to head back to shore. Floating in the water behind the boat, jello and a little impromptu snorkeling pretty much wore us out.

I was shooting a little video with the iPad and tossed the Flip video camera towards Wayne and it came up short. Hence the impromptu snorkeling that so far has remained unsuccessful. Maybe this mornings session? Oh well the only footage on there was the rough sailing from Trinidad, so it’s not a huge loss as that silly thing never kept a good charge any way.

Plans for the day include a walk on shore the other way around the island and that’s about it. Maybe head to Bequia later in the day.

Grilled yard bird and green beans with some of the saltiest rice you ever tried. Note to self cooking taters in Caribbean sea water is perfect, rice on the other hand needs way less kosher salt than is in the sea water. Hence the rice be came turtle food.
