Liming is “hanging out” in the local vernacular and that’s what we are doing. Ashore in hillsbourgh at a sea side cafe listening to the wave an enjoying the post clearance beverage. Just contemplating the meaning of life on island.
Got the watermaker working. Was a bit of a chore to get the pumps primed and find a leak that wasn’t letting the suction work. One of the high pressure pumps isn’t coming on so we’ll be making water slowly. We also found a leak in the port water supply that we’ll tackle a little later. That’s where all our fresh water from the port tank drained into the bilge.
We just chowed down on some jerk chicken and macaroni pie. Perfect light snack for lunch while liming the day away.
This where we spent the night. Doesn’t suck.
Little windy on the video but that’s to be expected on a sailboat.
Current plans are to take the mothership over closer to the mainland and drop the hook and clear out of Grenada so that within the next 24 hours well be in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
We are running low on fresh water so one of today’s tasks is to fire up the water maker and make some more freshly fresh for showers and cooking.
Hope y’all are having a great Tuesday.
